NEC invokes nostalgia with the release of the latest 5:4 monitor. We are surely dawning the age of new widescreen monitors and with the 16:9 aspect ratio pieces falling into the cliché segment, we really weren’t ready to see something this beautifully primitive. However, NEC thinks otherwise. Aimed at business purposes, the MultiSync EA190M will measure 19 inches along its diagonal span and will provide with features including 1280x1024 resolutions, 5ms response time, 900:1 contrast ratio and 250 cd/m brightness.
